8th Non-Accelerated

Welcome Back!  Summer sure flew by.  Our first unit of study will be the Pythagorean Theorem followed by a Mathscape Unit that will be the rest of the 10 weeks on polynomials and monomials.  Students will still be assessed with quizzes one to two times a week on the material learned.  This is for their Benchmark grades, one of the exit criteria's.  In conjunction with the major exit criteria is achieving a 75% overall average on the quarterly local exams.  These will be our two main focuses in terms of exit criteria for this academic school year. 

8th A1/A2

Welcome back and hope you are ready to jump right into things because we have no time to waste.  You will each be responsible for your success in this course.  As always, you know that I am here after school and you should be staying after if you do not understand the slightest concept.  One important thing to keep in mind about this course, do not fall behind!  You know I am here for you if you have any questions.  I believe you can all be successful with this.
